Welcome! I am hopeful and optimistic for the improvement in all of my client's lives. I truly believe change can occur and problems can improve, no matter how long a person has been struggling.

I specialize in adults with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and relationship issues. I earned my Ph.D from Penn State, M.A. from Boston College, and B.A. from The University of New Orleans. My approach to therapy is strength-based and results oriented. I adapt the work I do in psychotherapy to each individual client as I've found that each person benefits from an individualized treatment plan. The same approach does not fit everyone.

I provide individual, couples, and group therapy to adults. In addition to my clinical training I have an extensive research background on "over-thinking", a strong factor in mental illness. My approach to therapy is integrative although I frequently use mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral, and humanistic approaches. Stylistically, I'm transparent in my thought process and warm and directive.
